Odisha Channel Bureau Bhubaneswar: Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH), Odisha is launching a project for listing and documenting the monuments of the Jagannath Sadak in Odisha. The project is being undertaken to highlight the sad plight of this once great and now forgotten road on which pilgrims travelled to visit worship Lord Jagannath in Puri.The project is being undertaken to coincide with the Nabakalebar festival being held next year.The project will be done on the stretches of the road in Odisha starting from Jaleswar, Basta, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Chhatia, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar and culminate at Puri.INTACH chapters which fall in the route of the Sadak will be actively involved in it. This will be a scientific, cartographic, archaeological, historical and geographical survey of the Sadak, according to an official release on Tuesday.
