Odisha Channel Bureau Bhubaneswar, Oct 25: Even as the Central Bureau of Investigation had so far not arrested any of the Odisha politicians for their alleged involvement in the mega chit fund scam raising doubts in the minds of the people about its intentions, the investigating agency continued their questioning here even today.After grilling the Biju Janata Dal Lok Sabha Member Ramachandra Hansdah for his alleged involvement in scam on Friday, the CBI quizzed senior BJD legislator Pravat Tripathy today. Tripathy, who had been questioned by the CBI on two occasions in the past, appeared before the investigators for the first time after Orissa High Court denied him anticipatory bail recently.Tripathy had moved the High Court apprehending arrest for his alleged links with Pradeep Sethy, head of Artha Tatwa Group and one of the main accused in the scam.Tripathy was allowed to leave after one and a half hours questioning at the CBI office.The CBI sleuths had raided the houses of both Hansdah and Tripathy earlier.
