Odisha Channel Bureau Bhubaneswar: Mercury has dipped in most parts of Odisha with district headquarters town of Phulbani recording the season’s lowest at 2 degrees Celsius on Sunday.As many as 13 places across Odisha recorded minimum temperature of 10 degrees Celsius, according to the Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre. winterThe maximum temperature in the State was recorded between 24.4 and 28.4 degrees Celsius.The places that recorded the minimum temperature below 10 degrees Celsius on Sunday are Phulbani 2 degrees Celsius, Sundargarh 6 degrees Celsius, Daringibadi 7 degrees Celsius, Hirakud 7.6 degrees Celsius, Koraput 7.8 degrees Celsius, Titilagarh 8.5 degrees Celsius, Keonjhargarh 8.8 degrees Celsius, Angul 9 degrees Celsius, Jharsuguda 9.2 degrees Celsius, Bhawanipatna 9.6 degrees Celsius, Sambalpur 9.7 degrees Celsius, and Baripada 9.9 degrees Celsius.According to the Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre, cold wave condition would prevail over some parts of interior Odisha, and weather will be dry over Odisha till the New Year Day.
