Seven killed in accident in Kandhamal

Odisha Channel Bureau Phulbani: At least seven persons, most of them labourers, were killed and three others injured when a mini truck in which they were carrying cow manure fell off a ghat road in Kandhamal district on Monday.According to the police, the ill-fated truck loaded with cow dung manure skidded off the ghat road near Kakarketa under Gochhapada police station in the afternoon.The victims were sitting atop the loaded truck when it met with the accident and went down at least 20 feet below.The injured persons have been admitted to the district headquarters hospital at Phulbani, police said.
