Odisha Channel Bureau Kendrapara, July 6: A local court has convicted a former policeman and sentenced him to two years rigorous imprisonment on the charge forging high school certificate to get the police job.Accused Rajat Kumar Parida had earlier been dismissed from constable job after it had been found that he had submitted forged high school certificate to get the job. Judicial Magistrate First Class Manas Kumar Panda found the accused guilty of commission of offence and sentenced him to two years rigorous imprisonment yesterday, said prosecution counsel Saroj Jena.
