Odisha Channel Bureau Bhubaneswar: Hundreds of sensitive files of the Odisha Panchayati Raj Department were gutted when a fire broke out on the ground floor of the building adjacent to the State Secretariat on Monday morning.The exact reason of the fire was not known immediately though short circuit was stated to be the reason.The fire that broke out around 8 am was doused by the firemen.According to sources, some files that were destroyed in the fire pertained to the cases being investigated by the CBI relating to the irregularities in the implementation of MGNREGS.
