Little did she know that her temporary injury would give her an opportunity to talk to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and hear inspirational words. In fact, Manisha’s temporary grief gave her the opportunity to have an emotional moment with the Chief Minister. All of Manisha’s grief was met and she was happy to be ready to move on.

Patnaik had gone to Kalinga Stadium in the city to review the progress of construction of various sports projects, while there was some time to watch the ongoing Women’s Football League match and also talk to the players.

When the Chief Minister saw Manisha, who was devastated, he went to her and reassured her and advised her to prepare for the next match without further delay, continuing her treatment and preparation.

Manisha got emotional and told the Chief Minister that she would continue to work hard taking inspiration from him.

The students of Sundargarh Sports Hostel have been staying at the Khelo India Football Camp for below 18 years and continuing their practice.
