Odisha Channel Bureau Puri, April 10: Well-known sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik created a sand sculpture on Puri beach today to pay tribute to former Australian cricket captain Richie Benaud who has died at the age of 84.Benaud, one of Australia’s most influential cricketers and much loved commentators, was known as the `voice of cricket’.Pattnaik created the sculpture portraying Richie Benaud along with a cricket bat and microphone.The artist used three tonnes of sand and took four hours to complete the sculpture.“Richie Benaud was a great player, I am one his fan and I love his commentary,” said Pattnaik.
