Odisha Channel Bureau Bhubaneswar, May 14: The digital campaign for the Nabakalebara 2015 has been launched by Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at the State Secretariat here today. The objective of the digital campaign is to make Nabakalebara a ‘World Event’, through a state of the art dynamic website www.nabakalebara.gov.in, a user friendly mobile application in Android, iOS and Windows platforms, and extensive social media campaign “Nabakalebara 2015 Official” on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Google+ platforms.
According to an official release issued by Patnaik’s office, this campaign aims at improving the tourist engagement, enhance the service offerings, maintain the visitor profile and generate analytics for use during the future events. The website will have About Nabakalebara, Story of DaruBramha, role of the Sevayats, Ongoing Rituals, About Sreekshetra, about the Trinity, Tourism and Culture, How to reach, Places to visit around Puri and in Odisha, Accommodation details, Nabakalebara news, Twitter Speaks, videos and Photos and information of Health and safety Parking places and Local travel etc.The mobile application will have the following features: Factoids, Schedule, Maps – Online and Offline, Helpline, Utilities such as banks, police stations, Hospitals etc.tourist spots, videos, books, gallery, recent news etc. The social media campaign will cover the event news, interesting facts about the Nabakalebara and Puri temple, Odisha Tourism information and other related information.While launching the web portal, Patnaik stated that the official portal aims at increasing not only awareness but also enable devotees, visitors and tourists to find relevant information about the Nabakalebara event.
