Odisha Channel Bureau Bhubaneswar, Sep 20: Heavy rains continued to lash Odisha for the third consecutive day on Saturday even as the Meteorological Centre in the city predicted more rains till Monday.“Heavy to very heavy rainfall would occur at one or two places over north Odisha, and heavy rainfall would occur at one or two places over south Odisha,” the Centre said in the evening.Moderate to rather heavy rain/thundershower would occur at most places over the districts of Odisha, the Centre added.The places where heavy rainfall was experienced during the day include Baripdada, Balasore, Chandbali, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Gopalpur, Hirakud, Bolangir, Bhawanipatna, Malkangiri and Koraput, according to the Centre.The rainfall was likely to decrease from Monday, the Centre said.
