Odisha Channel Bureau Bhubaneswar, Nov 8: Bharatiya Janata Party on Saturday launched its membership drive in Odisha with the aim to enroll 40 lakh new members in the State during the six-month-long drive. The membership drive was launched by senior BJP leader and Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar in the presence of all senior leaders of the party in the State.The drive was formally launched at the party’s State headquarters here after a formal meeting of the party leaders from all parts of the State.Javadekar announced that anyone can also become a member of the party by giving a missed call to 18002662020.Besides, BJP workers will also make new members by visiting villages and all sorts of public places.Party leaders Pratap Chandra Sarangi and Bhrigu Baxipatra have been given charge of the membership drive in the State.
