Bhubaneswar: ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India (AM/NS India), Odisha facility has established six-bed Covid Care Centre (CCC)at Ore Club, Barbil in Keonjhar.
The CCC was inaugurated today by Soubhagya Rashmi Ranjan Samal, Nodal Officer, Covid-19, Barbil in presence of Fakir Mohan Naik, Superintendent of government Community Health Centre, Barbil, Ramakrishna Chinnamsetty, Head-Mining and Business Development, Sabyasachi Mohanty, COO-Mining, Ajit Patra, Mines Manager, Vikas Yadvendu, Head-CSR, Pramod Mishra, Head-HSE, Mining and other senior officials of the company.
Ramakrishna Chinnamsetty said, “We have taken utmost care for our employees and associates during this pandemic situation to combat coronavirus. We also follow all guidelines of Covid Management strictly for the safety of our employees”.
As per the government guidelines, the company has appointed qualified (MBBS) medical doctors and paramedical staff at CCC. Other facilities and necessary supporting infrastructures like; oxygen cylinders, oxy-meters, auto-hand sanitizers, medicine and have been arranged at CCC.
In August, AM/NS India, Odisha facility had established 32-bed Covid Care Centre at Pellet Plant at Paradeep in Jagatsinghpur, according to a press release issued by the company on Saturday.
