Bhubaneswar: The Department of Performing Arts (DPA), Sri Sri University in collaboration with Srjan is organising a world webinar series on `Globalisation of Indian Dance’ from September 21 to 26.
The series will feature 12 distinguished scholars/practitioners who have been invited to share their views and opinions on this pertinent topic.
Conducted on Zoom, each session will be held for one hour, followed by a 15-minute interactive question and answer session.
The aim of this webinar is to expose students, teachers, dancers and to varied thoughts and academic discussions on the performing arts, enabling their professional growth as aspiring classical dancers/artistes.
The webinar will also be available to the dancers and artistes of other classical dance forms and art connoisseurs through Facebook live.
According to the organisers, this world dance webinar will be the first of its kind in Odisha. This six-day webinar series features sessions by 13 distinguished scholars and practitioners. There will be two sessions per day.
