Odisha Channel Bureau Bhubaneswar, July 15: Keeping in mind the demands of the present, Xavier University, Bhubaneswar (XUB) has taken another step towards its vision to ‘Inspire Futures’ by carving a niche for itself in the area of commerce education and creating a platform for young students to hone their commercial skills.The university, which was inaugurated by Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik recently, officially inaugurated its School of Commerce on Tuesday.Among the guests were Upendra Nath Behera, Additional Chief Secretary, Finance Department, Government of Odisha; Rajib Sekhar Sahoo, Chartered Accountant; Father Paul Fernandes, Vice-Chancellor, XUB and Father Tony Uvary, S.J., Registrar, XUB.XUB had officially inaugurated its Ph.D programme on Monday.Among the guests were Pradeep Panigrahy, Minister of Higher Education, Science & Technology, Government of Odisha, and Chandra Sekhar Kumar, Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Employment and Technical Education & Training, Government of Odisha.
