Odisha Channel Bureau Bhubaneswar, July 31: The bauxite mines of Navratna PSU National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO), situated at Panchpatmali Hill, Koraput, Odisha, has bagged the Sita Ram Rungta Social Awareness Award 2013-14, instituted by Federation of Indian Mineral Industries (FIMI).On behalf of NALCO, Ansuman Das, Chairman-cum-Managing Director received the trophy from Narendra Singh Tomar, Union Minister of Steel, and Mines during the Annual General Meeting of FIMI at New Delhi on Thursday..Sanjaya Kumar Patnaik, AGM (Environment), Bauxite Mines received the certificate.Soma Mondal, Director (Commercial), V.Balasubramanyam, Executive Director (Production) and Jiban Mahapatra, AGM (Coordination), SH&E Dept, Corporate Office were also present on this occasion.
