‘Imaginations in sand’ launched

Odisha Channel Bureau Bhubaneswar, Aug 8: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik dedicated a book titled ‘Imaginations in sand’ to the millions of sand art lovers at a function held at Jayadev Bhavan here on Friday.‘Imaginations in sand’ is said to be India’s first coffee-table book on sand art and sand sculpture.The book is a rare composition of photographs and scribbles showcasing various expressions and experimentations by internationally acclaimed sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik in the ancient form of sand art, over the years.Odisha Minster of Tourism & Culture Ashok Panda, and Secretary, Tourism & Culture Arvind Padhee and sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik were present at the unveiling of the book.
