Odisha Channel Bureau Bhubaneswar, Sep 14: Odisha unit of Bharatiya Janata Party has changed the plan with regard to holding its State executive committee meeting.The party has announced that it will organise the State executive committee meeting in Bhubaneswar on September 21 instead of holding it in Kantabanjhi town in Bolangir district.As per the revised plan, the BJP State executive committee will meet at the party’s State headquarters in Bhubaneswar.BJP’s Odisha in-charge Arun Singh and both Union Ministers from Odisha – Jual Oram and Dharmendra Pradhan – will attend the meeting.Prior to the main meeting, a meeting of the members of the State executive will be held at 5 pm on September 20 and the State election committee meeting will be held at the party office two hours later.The State executive committee and the party office-bearers will discuss about the by-election in Kandhamal Lok Sabha seat in the backdrop of the present political scenario in the State.The by-election in Kandhamal constituency is scheduled to be held on October 15.The by-election was necessitated following demise of Biju Janata Dal MP Hemendra Chandra Singh a few days ago.
