BHUBANESWAR: The much-awaited light and sound show at the historic Sun Temple at Konark was launched by Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday evening.

The 40-minute-long show in English, Hindi and Odia has been prepared at a cost of Rs. 5.5 crore provided by the Odisha government. It has been executed by the India Tourism Development Corporation.

Any tourist visiting the Sun temple in the evening can watch the show by paying some extra money for the same.

Tourists will be provided with wireless headphones to experience the light and sound show. There is language option in the headphones to choose the convenient one.

Actor Kabir Bedi has lent his voice to narrate the historical and religious significance of the 13th century monument in English, while actors Shekhar Suman and Bijay Mohanty lent their voices in Hindi and Odia respectively.
