Bhubaneswar: The 12th International Film Festival on Art & Artists being organised by the JD Centre of Art in the city from January 12 to 14 will focus on literature.

The festival will showcase 35-40 selected films on arts and literature and will be attended by eminent artists, art lovers and film makers from across the country.

During the Festival, there will be master classes, workshops and seminars on different aspects of art and crafts.

To highlight the diversity, an integral part of the festival will entail Odissi tribal and folk performances, the exhibition of Odisha craft and textile and the sampling of Odia cuisine.

The festival is being organised by the JD Centre of Art in association with the Department of Tourism, Government of Odisha.

Like previous years, the festival will be held at the IDCOL Auditorium in the Unit-2 area of the capital city.

No entry fee will be charged from the visitors and art lovers during the three-day festival, which remain open from 10 am to 8 pm on all days.

The JD Centre of Art, headed by eminent artist Jatin Das, is a non-governmental, non-commercial centre for the visual and plastic arts based in Bhubaneswar.
