Odisha tourism officials get training

Odisha Channel Bureau Bhubaneswar, Aug 19: A five-day training programme on `Developing Managerial Competency’ for the officials of Odisha Government’s Department of Tourism was inaugurated in XIMB on Monday by Tourism & Culture Minister Ashok Panda.Inaugurating the training programme, Panda emphasised on capacity building and competency of tourism officials.He further stressed on regular training programmes for upgradation of the skills of the employees and officers of the Department. Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Tourism & Culture Department and Director Tourism also highlighted the importance and need of such training programme for creating a healthy, conducive and workable environment and requested the officials to take the opportunity of this training conducted by XIMB.The Director XIMB, Additional Secretary, Tourism, Andrew Dutta and F.M.Sahoo were also present in the inaugural session.
