Odisha Channel Bureau Bhubaneswar, July 27: A man who earned his living by driving his auto-rickshaw was found dead at the official residence of a senior Biju Janata Dal leader here on Sunday morning.The man, aged about 50 years, was founding hanging from a tree in the premises of the residence former Minister Pramila Mallick, according to sources.The man, identified as Surendra Routray was a native of Banapur village in Binjharpur Assembly constituency area that Mallick represents in the State Assembly.It was being suspected that Routray had committed suicide by hanging himself from the tree.A quarrel in his family living in his native village could be the reason that promoted him taking the extreme step.The victim, who was said to be a BJD worker, was staying at Mallick’s residence since long.Mallick, who lives in her own home in another locality of the Capital city, visits her official residence during office hours.Local police are investigating into the case.
