Odisha Channel Bureau Bhubaneswar, Aug 29: Tata Steel has been working for the development of the villages located in and around Sukinda in Jajpur district.As part of the endeavour, Tata Steel Rural Development Society (TSRDS), the CSR arm of the steel company, constructed a poultry shed at Kusumundia village near Sukinda.poultryPankaj Kumar Satija, GM (O) FAMD, inaugurated the new poultry shed on August 26.Amit Choube, Head CSD, Sukinda Chromite Mine, Sahil Sood, Executive Asst.to GM, Jasprit Singh Asst.Manager (Admin), Baman Dehuri, Head of Kusumundia village, local villagers, SHG members were present on the occasion.Earlier, the Tata Steel Rural Development Society (TSRDS) organised six days poultry training programme from August 20 to 25.The training programme covered topics like care for poultry, vaccination, feeding procedure, disease profile among others.After inauguration, Satija distributed certificates to 42 Self Help Group members of Maa Sambleswari SHG, Mahulkhal, Maa Sidheswari SHG, Mahulkhal and Maa Tarini SHG, Kusumundia.Sagar Kumar Samal, farm manager, CPDO who was the resource person from Bhubaneswar and J.Sandil, Unit Head, TSRDS, Sukinda were present on the occasion.
