Odisha Channel Bureau Bhubaneswar, Sep 1: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated India Against Negativity, an initiative for promoting positivity in society and dispelling negativism, at a ceremony held here on Sunday.Gajapati Dibyasingha Deb launched the IAN website on the occasion.Former Supreme Court Judge and Chairman of the IAN advisory board Ananga Patnaik and Members of Parliament Prasanna Patsani and Ranjib Biswal spoke on the occasion.Convenor of IAN Achyuta Samanta spoke about the purpose of the forum.In his address, the Chief Minister said that India Against Negativity had been conceived to support motivation for positive action by people and organizations.”We are trying to fast-track our socio-economic development by bringing visible changes in the lives of people.But there are also vexing issues coming in the way, and we are consciously endeavouring to find solutions to these issues.However, constant and mindless focus on these issues can upset our development initiatives.It can lead to skepticism and despair in society.We can’t allow the society under the influence of negativity,” said Patnaik.“It has also set an agenda to build a positive society by involving the youth of the country.I think likeminded people under the umbrella of this forum will succeed in promoting positive social activities and prevent social prejudices and superstitions,” Patnaik added.
