Odisha Channel Bureau Bhubaneswar, Nov 20: With a view to avoiding rush in regular trains, East Coast Railway (ECoR) has decided to augment additional coaches permanently in Pune, Tirupati and Bangiriposi bound trains from Bhubaneswar with immediate effect.22882/22881 Bhubaneswar-Pune-Bhubaneswar Express will be augmented with two additional general second class coaches permanently and will run with 21 coaches with effect from November 25.22871/22872 Bhubaneswar-Tirupati-Bhubaneswar Express will be augmented with two additional general second class coaches permanently and will run with 21 coaches with effect from November 22.Similarly, 12892/12891 Bhubaneswar-Bangiriposi-Bhubaneswar Express has been augmented with one AC chair car coach permanently and now running with 12 coaches.Apart from this, ECoR is also augmenting additional coaches temporarily in different important trains towards different destinations of the country from its jurisdiction according to the feasibility and demands from the passengers.Based on an analysis of the passenger traffic profile on various routes, temporary augmentation of coaches in several Express trains is being done by attaching additional coaches, according to an official release issued by ECoR on Thursday.
