Services of special trains extended

Odisha Channel Bureau Bhubaneswar, Jan 18: Keeping in mind the positive response and feedback from rail users and also to avoid rush in regular trains, East Coast Railway has decided to extend the services of Bhubaneswar-Pune Premium Special, Bhubaneswar-Patna Special, Puri-Santragachhi (Kolkata) Special & Sambalpur-Yesvantpur Special trains up to last week of March 2015.A large number of berths are available in these trains and passengers may avail the facility of these special trains to go to their destinations, ECoR said in a release today.02882 Bhubaneswar-Pune weekly premium special train leaving Bhubaneswar at 2215hrs on every Sunday and reaching Pune at 0405hrs on Tuesday has been extended to run up to March 29.In the return direction, 02881 Pune-Bhubaneswar Weekly PREMIUM Special train leaving Pune at 1115hrs o­n every Tuesday and arriving Bhubaneswar at 1735hrs o­n Wednesdays has been extended to run up to March 31.This train has one AC-2 tier, one AC-3 tier, 10 sleeper class coaches, two guard cum luggage vans and one pantry car in its composition having stoppages at Brahmapur, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Secunderabad and Solapur between Bhubaneswar and Pune.Similarly, 08449 Bhubaneswar-Patna weekly special train leaving Bhubaneswar at 1530hrs o­n every Friday and reaching Patna at 1140hrs o­n Saturdays has been extended to run up to March 27.In the return direction, 08450 Patna-Bhubaneswar weekly special train leaving Patna at 1400hrs o­n every Saturday and arriving Bhubaneswar at 0700hrs o­n Sundays has been extended to run up to March 28.This train has one AC-2 tier, one AC-3 tier, 10 sleeper class coaches, four general second class coaches and two guard cum luggage vans in its composition having stoppages at Cuttack, Jajpur-Keonjhar Road, Bhadrak, Balasore, Hijli, Adra, Asansol, Chittaranjan, Jasidih, Jhajha, Kiul, Mokama and Fathuha between Bhubaneswar and Patna.Apart from this, 08401 Puri-Santragachhi weekly special train leaving Puri at 2125hrs o­n every Friday and reaching Santragachhi at 0630hrs o­n Saturdays has been extended to run up to March 27.In the return direction, 08402 Santragachhi-Puri weekly special train leaving Santragachhi at 1900hrs o­n every Saturday and arriving Puri at 0400hrs o­n Sundays has been extended to run up to March 28.This train has one AC-2 tier, one AC-3 tier, 09 sleeper class coaches, four general second class coaches and two guard cum luggage vans in its composition having stoppages at Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Jajpur-Keonjhar Road, Bhadrak, Balasore and Kharagpur between Puri and Santragachhi.These apart, 08301 Sambalpur-Yesvantpur weekly special train leaving Sambalpur at 0850hrs on every Wednesday and reaching Yesvantpur at 1630hrs on Thursdays has been extended to run up to March 25.In the return direction, 08302 Yesvantpur-Sambalpur weekly special train leaving Yesvantpur at 0030hrs o­n every Friday (midnight of Thursday) and arriving Sambalpur at 0615hrs o­n Saturdays has been extended to run up to March 27.This train has one AC-2 tier, one AC-3 tier, 10 sleeper class coaches, three general second class coaches and two guard cum luggage vans in its composition having stoppages at Bargarh Road, Balangir, Titlagarh, Kesinga, Muniguda, Rayagada, Parvatipuram, Bobbili, Vizianagaram and Visakhapatnam in ECoR jurisdiction between Sambalpur & Yesvantpur.
