Odisha Channel Bureau Nuapada, July 25: At least six persons were injured with two of them critically following blast of two torch lights in a remote village of Odisha’s Nuapada district on Thursday night.The blast of this nature is first of its kind to have occurred in these areas and it is in no way linked with Maoists’ attack.It is being suspected that family feud over property ownership led to the blast in Bharuamunda village under Sinapalli police station jurisdiction, said Sub Divisional Police Officer, Nuapada, Shantanu Kumar Dash.The culprits fixed explosive substances within interior portion of two torch lights and dumped them in the heart of the village.The blast occurred as the locals tried to retrieve the abandoned objects.The explosives put to use to trigger the blast were moderate.Still two of the victims sustained serious injuries, Dash said.
