Odisha Channel Bureau Bhubaneswar, Sep 21: Two more persons were arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation on Sunday for their alleged involved in the multi-crore chit fund scam in Odisha.Mumbai-based stock broker Deepak Pareek and real estate broker Dharmendra Bothra were arrested for their alleged links with the Artha Tatwa (AT) Group.The arrests followed long hours of questioning by the CBI officials.The arrests were linked to the money transactions of the AT Group headed by Pradip Sethy, who is in judicial custody since long.Apart from Sethy, CBI has already arrested three Bhubaneswar-based media house owners, and a former Director of the AT Group.No politician has been arrested till date in the chit fund scam even though the CBI has raided the houses of many leaders, including several leaders of the ruling Biju Janata Dal.Many more arrests were likely in the chit fund scam involving more than 40 chit fund firms.
