Odisha Channel Bureau Angul, Nov 18: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday called upon the people of Odisha to be prepared as a golden opportunity is coming in the future.“You supported me earlier and now support us as there will be a golden opportunity for the state in the future.Odisha will be at the top of the prosperity,” Patnaik said while addressing a gathering here.Patnaik, however, did not elaborate as to what kind of opportunity will usher in.Landing here at around 11 am, Patnaik inaugurated the new building of the new Collectorate which suffered cost and time over run due to sheer negligence of the concerned department officials.Later, addressing the state level annual conference of the revenue inspectors at Sabhaghar, Patnaik exhorted them to be sympathetic to the poor people and always be service motivated.“You are no less important than those work in disaster management, so you should serve the people without putting them into inconvenience,” he said.He said that his government is aware of the problems of the government employees and doing a lot for them.“You always come in direct contact with the common masses so not only the revenue department but also other departments are also dependant on you.You need to mete out justice to the people on ground,” he added.
