Odisha Channel Bureau Bhubaneswar: Election Commission of India on Monday issued notification for Rajya Sabha polls for two seats in Odisha.According to the notification, filing of nomination papers will be filed between Friday and June 23.The election will be held on July 3.The two seats were vacated by Shashi Bhusan Behera and Rabinarayan Mohapatra who resigned after they won the Assembly elections.Many senior leaders of the BJD are hopeful that they would be chosen for the two seats by Chief Minister and party president Naveen Patnaik.The leaders aspiring for Rajya Sabha include Prafulla Chandra Ghadai, Prasanna Acharya, Kalandi Charan Behera, A.U.Singh Deo, Surendra Nath Nayak and Bhupinder Singh.
