Malkangiri, Oct 1: A Maoist was arrested in Malkangiri district of Odisha during a joint operation by the personnel of Border Security Force and the district police on Wednesday.According to the police, Singa Kattami alias Mahesh (25), a resident of Tagoorkota village under Motu police station limits, was arrested from Sudhakonda area during the jointly carried operation.Kattami was a member of the Padia unit local operation squad of the Communist Party of India (Maoist).He worked under the protection Udaya, divisional secretary of Malkangiri Division of CPI (Maoist), police said.Government of Odisha had announced a reward of Rs.1,00,000 on Kattami.
