Odisha budget session from Feb 6

Odisha Channel Bureau Bhubaneswar, Jan 21: The budget session of the Odisha Assembly will be held from February 6 to April 4.The budget session which will have 30 work days will be held in two phases – first from February 6 to 22 and second from March 11 to April 4.The session will be addressed by Governor S.C.Jamir on the opening day.The budget for 2015-16 will be presented in the Assembly on February 16, and the Appropriation Bill will be placed on March 31.The session is likely to be stormy as both Congress and BJP were geared up to corner the BJD government on various issues relating to the chit fund scam and issues pertaining to farmers.
