Odisha Channel Bureau Koraput, June 22: Six Maoist cadres belonging to Narayanpatna area of Koraput district surrendered before the police in Koraput on Sunday.The Maoists worked under the Srikakulam-Koraput Divisional Committee of the Andhra Odisha Boarder Special Zonal Committee of the Communist Party of India (Maoist), according to the police.Two of the six Maoists – Jeera Kendruka and Kadulu Mandingi – were vice-presidents of Chasi Mulia Adivasi Sangha, an outfit of the tribal people of Narayanpatna area.Pramila Wadeka, another Maoist who surrendered, was a member of the protection team of Akkiraju Hargopal alias RK, secretary of the AOBSZC.Pramila was carrying a reward of one lakh rupees announced by the Odisha Government, police said.
